Help youth in the community and beyond deal more effectively with issues including, but not limited to, anger, mental psychological, abuse, oppression, disparity, family, societal, and nutritional issues.
We noticed too many memorials on the sidewalks of people who been fatally wounded through homicides and suicides in the city of Wilmington, DE. deemed, “The Murder Capital”. Realizing something more has to be done, ASAP, the birth of The African-American Youth Innovation Organization.
Here at AAYIO (African-American Youth Innovation Organization), we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. Since our founding in 2000, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in.
